Hey you guys,I know you’re interested in plants and its apparent Enrique is as well so I thought I’d let you know that the columnar cactus is Cerus peruvianus, commonly called “Perusian apple”, due to the tasty, apple sized fruit it makes. As the name implies, it hails from the dry western slopes of the Andes in Peru. And yes, its related to the night blooming Ceroids that are native to Sonora and Arizona.Always enjoy you’re blogs, especially the ones about Mexico. They take me back….Kyle
